About This Place

Mi Rinconcito is a vibrant Mexican and Latin American restaurant nestled in the heart of Grovetown, GA, at 5114 Wrightsboro Rd. This charming eatery excels in delivering authentic, richly flavored dishes that celebrate traditional Mexican cuisine with a modern touch. From the moment you step inside, the warm and lively atmosphere invites you to relax and savor the expertly crafted menu offerings.

The menu at Mi Rinconcito showcases a dazzling array of favorites that cater to both adventurous palates and comfort food enthusiasts alike. Signature dishes such as the Taco Suadero burst with tender, slow-cooked meat wrapped in freshly made regular tortillas, while the Carne Asada offers a perfectly grilled, juicy steak experience. The Enchiladas Supreme with Rice and Beans present a hearty harmony of flavors, topped with gooey Mexican cheese and a classic salsa guajillo that awakens the senses.

One cannot miss the vibrant Quesabirria—a savory, cheese-laden favorite that oozes lusciousness with every bite—or the delectable Shrimp Nachos that combine the freshness of seafood with zesty accompaniments, guaranteed to delight any appetizer lover. For those who enjoy a bit of spice and depth, the Menudo offers a soul-warming treat that echoes the rich culinary heritage of Mexico.

The dining experience is enhanced beautifully by a thoughtfully curated drink menu featuring classics like the frosty Frozen Margarita and the refreshingly tangy Michelada. These perfectly balanced drinks pair wonderfully with the food, providing an added layer of enjoyment that keeps guests coming back.

Mi Rinconcito's commitment to quality and hospitality shines through in every aspect of their service. Customers frequently praise the friendly, attentive staff who create a welcoming environment even during challenging times, like during Hurricane Helene, when they remained open and ready to serve. The casual yet energetic setting, complemented by a well-stocked bar, makes it an ideal spot for everything from casual meals to lively gatherings.

Families feel right at home here as well—with a dedicated kid’s menu featuring favorites like tacos, burritos, and chicken fingers, all served with familiar sides that please younger palates. The portions are generous, and the food comes out hot, reflecting the kitchen's dedication to freshness and quality.

Regulars rave not only about the delicious food but also the attention to detail, such as the freshly made corn tortillas and house-made salsas served at every table. Though individual preferences vary—some find the tomato-based fajita sauce less to their taste—the overall consensus is that the balance of flavors, combined with excellent beans, rice, and vibrant toppings, crafts an authentic dining experience that is hard to match in the Grovetown area.

For anyone craving genuine Mexican and Latin American cuisine where flavor, atmosphere, and service come together beautifully, Mi Rinconcito is a must-visit destination. Whether you’re seeking a quiet night out or a festive meal with friends over tacos, enchiladas, or a chilled margarita, this restaurant is poised to become your new favorite culinary hideaway.

Amazing service as always, open during Hurricane Helene’s visit and enjoying some delicious street tacos and cold draft beer. CASH and VENMO ONLY at the moment.

Great service, and the food came out quickly and very hot. They said there was no cheese on the burrito, but it came with cheese anyways (not good for lactose intolerant). Not a fan of the tomato-based sauce on the fajitas but the beans and rice were good, and the corn tortillas were great. Really good chips and salsa!

This is my new "go to" Mexican restaurant. The food is great. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is pretty neat. The staff is super nice. They have a bar. I mean, what more can you ask for?

It was definitely better this time. My server was very friendly. I've been numerous times alone but I get better service with my husband. I was refused extra lemons (limes) one time and wasn't allowed to take my salsa home. This time was definitely better. I enjoy their food and wanted to give them a chance to recover.

Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Fantastic food. I will be a repeat customer. I loved the chorizo tacos on the hand-made corn tortilla and the three bowl salsa at the table.

This place is awesome. I’ve brought my friends and family here enough to get a good vibe of the place and food, and they deserve the full 5*. Every waiter and waitress has been helpful and patient. Food comes out fast and hot. (The misses loves the queso.)
